Synpopsis
TIME magazine photographer, Franco Pagetti, explores the impact the Iraq War has had on a region by telling the stories behind three photographs. These images become a metaphor for the war and speak of the impact the conflict has had on a country, a region and the world. This film explores the stories behind war zone photographs, and how those stories change viewers’ readings of particular images. It’s an exploration of the role of photography, the importance of the images spread across various media platforms and how these inform the public about a conflict as it unfolds.
