Canada 150 – With Open Arms

The Yorkton Film Festival is proud to commemorate Canada’s 150th anniversary by looking at the diversity that has built this country to the multicultural society we know and love today.

This project is possible thanks to a generous grant provided by Canadian Heritage a as a part of the Canada 150 celebrations.

The Yorkton Film Festival has prided itself on being North America’s longest running film festival. For the past 70 years, filmmakers from across Canada have gathered in Yorkton to showcase films that are as diverse as the country itself, which makes us uniquely suited to screen these films that highlight that diversity.
