Ms. Goulden has been a champion of the tourism and arts industry in Saskatchewan for over twenty years, working with both Tourism Yorkton and the Yorkton Film Festival. She has served as the Chairperson, Tourism Saskatchewan Board of Directors. Ms. Goulden serves on the City of Yorkton Municipal Council and represents the East Central SUMA region on the Saskatchewan Urban Municipalities Association board of directors.
She has served on numerous community, provincial and national committees and organizations, including terms as President of both the Canadian and Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association.
Through her work and volunteer activities, she continually promotes Saskatchewan as the best place to visit, live and do business. Ms. Goulden believes in partnerships and empowerment, in growing vibrant sustainable arts and tourism communities.
Taynika is from Jamaica and after almost 17 years in retail banking, decided to pursue a career in event planning, migrating to Canada in 2018 and enrolling in a post graduate event management program at Humber College Lakeshore in Etobicoke, Toronto.
After graduating she decided to make Yorkton her home and has since accepted the position of Festival Co-ordinator
